Are the services by OmSeva Paid?

The basic plan services offered by the organization will be free for a duration of six months.

What are the services provided by the Care buddy?

Care Buddy provides the comfort of companionship and oversight, ensuring that the service seekers have access to any assistance they might need. This assistance could include managing household needs such as arranging for an electrician, plumber, or gardener, etc. helping with shopping, or teaching how to use shopping apps like Blinkit, medication management, scheduling an appointment with the doctor, taking seva-seekers to the doctor etc.

Will OmSeva provide nursing facilities?

OmSeva doesn’t provide nursing facilities to seva seekers under any plan as of yet. However, OmSeva does help seva-seekers in booking a doctors appointment or taking the seva-seekers to a medical facility.

From where will OmSeva operate?

OmSeva has its functioning headquarters in Indore. Initially, the services will be launched and operated within Indore only. After determining the scale of acceptance of OmSeva , its services will be launched nationwide

Given recent incidents, what steps will OmSeva take to ensure the safety of those using its services?

Care buddies of OmSeva are sevaks who live to serve. Our care buddies are morally more Enlighted. They are polite and have more patience. Dealing with the old does require someone who is soft-spoken and patient.

Our Care buddies are employed after thorough background check and police verification even after hiring from credible references.

Periodic feedback will be obtained from the seva seekers to express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction or any changes in services.

Safety monitoring involves real time checking if the care buddy is alone, or with authorized company.

How to ensure the safety of Care Buddy?

Safety monitoring is two ways. For service provider as well as the service seeker. We will be monitoring for a hassle-free service.

Can services be customized according to specific needs?

Services can be tailored to meet the specific preferences of those seeking assistance. Seva seekers can schedule visits from a care buddy once a week or daily throughout the week according to the frequency of visits they want.

Are the services covered by insurance?

No, the services aren’t covered by insurance.

Can an individual arrange and prepay for services to ensure that their parents and relatives continue to receive proper care should they pass away unexpectedly?

Yes, the service type can be customized to include this in the plan

Are the services available 24/7?

The services might not be available 24/7. However, in case of medical emergencies Care buddy will reach to help.

How are medical emergencies handled?

OmSeva will have its own link of resources. In case of medical emergencies, the care buddy will either arrange medical support at home, contact an ambulance, or take the patient to the hospital.

Are caregivers trained?

Proper training will be provided to the Care buddies.

Can I change the caregiver if it’s not a good fit?

Yes. Feedback will be taken from care seekers frequently.

How do you ensure privacy and confidentiality?

Family caregivers must sign the confidentiality agreement before he takes on his charges.

Do you provide services for those with specific medical conditions?

Services for some specific medical conditions can be provided only after admins approval

Are OmSeva services limited to the parents with NRI kin?

No, these services can be availed by anyone.

Is there any contract for services?

 No. Seva seekers can opt out of the services any time.
